Profitable Real Estate® is the brainchild of PhamTom Designs, LLC®. Established in 2003, Profitable RE set out to provide web solutions for the serious Real Estate Investor.

PhamTom Designs, LLC® is the engine that powers Profitable RE. PhamTom Designs, LLC® have been in the web development industry for over 9 years. It has helped companies move from start-up to mid-size corporations. In 2000 it brought gotkickz.com on-line (an online shoe store that held exclusive inventory of sought-after sneakers). Also in 2000, guaranteeprofits.com was launched and over time grew into the premier mentorship site - complete with an on-line document library, a storefront and a message board. In 2002 Walter Reed Army Medical Center contracted PhamTom Designs, LLC® to design and develop WRAMC's Intranet Graphic User Interface and various applications. Most of these applications are still in place with future applications being developed with standards that were set in motion by PhamTom Designs, LLC®.

The Profitable RE Story

PhamTom Designs, LLC® was challenged to develop a site by a real estate investor in the local MD, VA, DC area. This web site had to be a cut above the rest. Not only was it necessary to stand out, it was important that it was functional. The site had to be able to collect information, publish information and assist the investor in his business. In short, it had to have a front-end where ease-of-use encouraged the end-user to visit the site for getting and requesting information. All the while, it had to have a scalable back-end where it linked into a database for the investor to manage his business.

Needless to say PhamTom Designs, LLC® accepted the challenged and immediately went to work. At the time, no one would have predicted that this project would turn into what we now all know as the Profitable RE Prototype. The project took 4 months to complete and a calculated total cost of $8,000. Soon after the launch of the first site, PhamTom Designs, LLC® was contacted by other investors to create a similar site with the same functionality. That is where our story begins. Instead of creating the same site but with a different interfaces, PhamTom Designs, LLC® decided to use the first site as the master copy for duplication. PhamTom Designs, LLC® took the existing source files of the prototype site and packaged it so that it could be duplicatable. PhamTom Designs, LLC® did this for 2 reasons:

1. it would cut down on development time

2. thus, making it more affordable.

It was at that moment that Profitable RE was created. In essence, new clients had the opportunity to get the same site that took 4 months and $12,000 to create at a fraction of the time and cost to develop and implement.

Presence. Lets face it; if you were handed a business card and it didn't have a web site address, how serious of a business is it?
